Make sure you take a look at the list of unacceptable curbside collection items that American disposal sent with this quarters bill.

I am glad that they included "Dead Animals" and "Whole Decks" as unacceptable items. They probably meant to include live animals on the list too.

American Trash Pickup

I have to say, I've been surprised and pleased at what they have been willing to pickup at the curbside. Recently I needed to get ride of an old lawnmower, and I figured I'd need to take it to the dump myself, but I was very pleased to learn that American would pick it up curbside. All I needed to do was run it out of gas. They have also taken away larger items such as furniture or construction debris that I wasn't sure they would. Always a nice surprise when they did.

As for 'live animals', I have a few that could be picked up ;-)

I've had the same experience. I do try and give them a nice tip when I put the huge stuff out though.

Those guys picked up an old refrigerator for us last year. I couldn't have been happier about that!
