I have never seen it this slow.

Do you think that not having your tags made a difference? I talked to a lot of my friends and (including me) they haven't picked up their tags yet from the MPOA building. Now my excuse is lame because I'm a stay at home mom that just keeps forgetting; however a few of the people I talked to work full time and can't get to the building during the hours it's open.

This is something that I have wondered about myself. I know at the beginning of the season the MPOA building is kept open for at least 4 hrs on the weekend so that people can go and pick up tags, but if it is not on your mind that little errand may be forgotten.

I can only imagine that if people were to let the management know ahead of time, they may be able to coordinate picking up their tags at an event or when the board meeting is going on. I believe they staff the building when the board meetings are held. That might be a good thing for the management company to offer picking up tags since the board meetings go until past 9:30pm.

Well the heat had to have been a factor affecting turnout. With that kind of swelter, many will just stay in. But I also wonder how much competition there was from other end-of-schoolyear events; graduations, scout bridging ceremonies, etc... Those last few weeks of school, we are absolutely swamped with events.
