2010 Triathlon

Noticed in the September 2009 issue of the Montclarion that the board denied a request for Set Up Events to hold the 2010 triathlon at the lake. Anyone know why?

The board was advised by their lawyer that the liability was to great even though Set Up Events has an insurance rider. I don't think we have heard the end of this.

Hold Fire on Triathlon Decision

I know for a fact that there will be an article in the October Montclairion explaining the decision with more rationale than just 'liability concerns'. Let's wait and see what the artcile says.
